Welcome to the registration page for the 36th Australasian Association for Engineering Education Annual Conference.
All persons intending to attend the Conference must complete an online Registration Form.
Please read the below registration information before you complete the Registration Form. Should you experience any difficulties, please contact the Conference Managers at register@aaee2025@arinexgroup.com.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware that there are several clashing events, including the Cricket Ash and Lady Gaga concert, which may result in high rates for accommodation and travel. We strongly recommend that you secure your accommodation and travel arrangements as early as possible.

The Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner is inclusive in all full registration categories and not day registration. Please see below under Registration Terms and Conditions for full entitlements for each registration category.
Member Registrations
Members registration rates are applicable to AAEE members.
Student, (Primary- or high-school) Teacher and VET/TAFE Staff Registration Fees*
Students, (primary- or high-school) teachers, and VET/TAFE staff will need to register using their institutional (VET/TAFE) or primary/high school email address rather than a personal email as proof. Teachers applying for this registration category are exclusive for current primary and secondary school teachers or K-12 teachers only.

Please note communications sent by external travel providers are not associated with Arinex Pty Ltd. All official event travel and accommodation arrangements, and communications regarding your registration will be sent to you directly by Arinex Pty Ltd. If you receive any external communications please note proceeding with booking with an external provider is at your own risk and no liability will be borne by the Conference. Entitlements
Full Conference registrations receive the following:
- Morning, lunch and afternoon tea catering
- Access to the Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner
- Opportunity to purchase additional guest tickets for social functions, if required
- Access to all program sessions
- Entry to the trade exhibition across the Conference days
Day Conference registrations receive the following, for the nominated day/s:
- Morning, lunch and afternoon tea catering
- Opportunity to purchase tickets for social functions
- Access to all program sessions for the nominated day/s
- Entry to the trade exhibition Conference days, for the nominated day/s
Procedure
Registration confirmation
Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email with a confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will only be processed or confirmed if payment does accompany your form.
Name badge
Each delegate of the Conference will receive a name badge upon registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.
Payment Options
Credit Card
Please note the preferred payment method for online registrations is by credit card, but there is the option to request a tax invoice. Accepted credit cards are MasterCard, Visa, EFTPOS and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex’.
EFT/Invoice
Payment via EFT will be available from the registration open date and will close one (1) month prior to the conference. Attendees will receive an invoice for the registration fee within their registration confirmation email that is sent upon completion of the registration form. Payment via eft is required within 14 days from the date of invoice.
Registrations with outstanding EFT payments over 14 days, will be advised of cancellation if payment is not received within 7 days of notification.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers at register.aaee2025@arinexgroup.com
Registration Fees
Cancellations before Thursday 4 September 2025 will incur a A$150.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations from Friday 5 September 2025 to Monday 27 October 2025 will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
Cancellations on or after Tuesday 28 October 2025 will receive no refund.
Social Payments are non-refundable as at Tuesday 28 October 2025.The conference organisers and host are not responsible for any loss, damage, or additional costs incurred by delegates due to circumstances beyond the control of the organisers and hosts. This includes, but is not limited to disruptions to travel, visa delays, personal emergencies, or any other external factors such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions that may affect attendance. Delegates are strongly encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Disclaimer
The program is correct at the time of publishing. The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice. Neither the host organisation(s) nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.
The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.Code of Conduct
The Organiser of 36th Australasian Association for Engineering Education Annual Conference (the “Event”) reserve the right to remove from the venue/Event at any time any attendee deemed to be causing, or potentially causing, a disturbance or exhibiting disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.
