Call for full paper and workshop EOI now open
Authors in all areas of engineering education are invited to submit full papers and workshop proposals, with a particular emphasis on the conference theme Engineering education: between the human and the digital.

- Upload your full paper or workshop EOI as a PDF and name your file in the following format: Last name_Firstinitial_The first five words of your abstract title
- You must use the template provided and follow the instructions included.
- Submissions must be submitted in English. Your submission must be print-ready.
- The Full Paper Submission should be no more than 9 pages. Download the Full Paper template here
- The Workshop Expression of Interest submission should be no more than 1 page. Download the Workshop EOI template here
- Authors must not use AI to write either their abstracts or papers, or to generate their posters. It is permitted to use AI as part of the process of research, for example, generation of data, or as a focus of the research paper, such as a review of the use of AI as a tutor for students or in assessment.
- It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure that the submission has been approved by all authors.
- The Organising Committee will not be responsible for any errors published.
Instructions for Full Paper / Workshop EOI Submissions
Abstract submission is a two-step process. Please follow the instructions carefully to ensure your submission is uploaded into the evexus abstract portal below correctly.
STEP 1: Create an author account
Firstly, you must create an account to upload an abstract. To begin, access the evexus abstract portal below. Click the “Create an Author Account” button and enter your contact details. These details are required to create the account. Once you have created an account within this portal you can proceed with your submissions.

STEP 2: Submitting your full paper / workshop EOI
Once you have logged into the abstract submission portal, click the ‘Submit’ button to access the submission page. You will be required to provide the following details prior to submitting your abstract:
- Enter your paper title in the ‘Paper Title’ box.
- Upload your submission in the File field.
- Add any additional emails to the email correspondence box (any email addresses entered here will be included in the correspondence emails that are sent to you).
- Enter the name and organisation of all co-presenters and co-authors.
- Ensure you indicate the presenting author(s) for the abstract and include a brief biography. The biography should be no more than 100 words.
- Indicate your paper type (Full paper or Workshop Expression of Interest).
- Select the most relevant theme for your abstract.
- Select 1 to 4 keywords from this list to help allocate talks into themes.
- Provide permission for your presentation to be used post-conference in PDF format.
General Policies and Requirements
- Authors are encouraged to submit new and original works for consideration
- The submitter must be an author of the abstract.
- Abstracts must be submitted to the Conference Managers viaeOrganiser by 11 April 2025.
- Abstracts will not be accepted via fax, email, mail or USB/CD.
- All required fields on the online abstract submission form must be completed.
- Acceptance of abstracts for presentation at the Conference will be on the basis of committee selection.
- All presenting authors will be required to register and pay for the Conference by the author registration deadline of 22 September 2025 to ensure that their abstract(s) are included in the final program.
- It is the responsibility of the presenting author to ensure that the abstract is submitted correctly.
- After an author has submitted their abstract, they must check their submission to ensure the document has been uploaded correctly. Authors can check their submission by clicking on the viewing option in the submission form.
- The Conference Managers will not be held responsible for abstract submissions not received via the website or for submission errors caused by internet services outages or other unforeseen events.
Notification of Acceptance
Notification of acceptance will be sent via email to the submitting author by 23 May 2025. Acceptance or otherwise is at the discretion of the committee whose decision is final. All presenting authors must register and pay to attend the Conference. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from the program.
